The Position

Within the European Horizon2020 project “Achieving wider uptake of water-smart solutions” the Research Group in Sanitary and Environmental Engineeringof of University of Palermo seeks a motivated and enthusiastic PhD fellow. The successful PhD fellow will become a member of an international and interdisciplinary research team focusing on wastewater treatment.

Activities will include bench and pilot scale plants setting up and monitoring, laboratory analysis, batch tests performing, writing scientific papers, attending conferences and PhD seminars.

Qualifications

This position requires a Master’s degree in Environmental/Chemical/Process/Engineering/Applied Science or equivalent. Previous experience in water treatment processes, membrane technologies, analytical chemistry, and environmental issues is required to be eligible for the position. Advance level of English is positively considered.
